Boris’s stache is back, fresher than ever

without comments

Boris, who we last saw in the video promoting “Stache Fresh,” is back again, this time telling the tale of one man who decides to leave his mo, and how it is eventually loved. Kind of like Jane Seymour’s Open Heart Collection from Kay’s Jewelers. It’s like her mother always said, “If you have an open heart, love will always find its way.” And it will- just watch the video.

Nick Offerman Teaches Viewers How to Grow a Mustache as Epic as His

without comments

In Summary:

  • Hammer a Nail
  • Send a hand-written letter
  • Capture a household bug and set it free
  • Tolerate a crying baby
  • Smell wood
  • Move out of your parent’s house
  • Gain the trust of a dog
  • Sweat
  • Eat a raw onion
  • Don’t shave your upper lip

I’ve got a few more things I need to do to get my mustache Nick Offerman-worthy. I still have yet to eat a raw onion.

Video Mustache Directory

without comments

A simple photo of his mustache was not enough. No, Razmig had to send us a video of his mustache. Or should I say mustatches? In his professionally produced video he exhibits 9 different popular styles from the horseshoe to the pencil thin.

If Razmig can grow a mustache, so can you! In the comments he advises:

I went through a good 4 months before mine even started looking kind of normal! You just have to power through that awkward stage. OWN IT!

The Messenger and the International Moustache Film Festival

without comments

The Messenger, Progressive Insurance’s stached spokesman who is all about saving it forward is sponsoring the inaugural International Moustache Film Festival in beautiful Portland, Maine. For those of you keeping score, I moved to Portland from Brooklyn a year and a half ago and have been impressed by the number of mustaches that have shown themselves in Portland. While the stache level does not approach Brooklyn, Portland represents well, and this film festival is a huge deal.  Check out the broad array of films that will be on shown for your stached pleasure. And, of course, the film festival will be followed by the Stache Pag, where dozens if not hundreds of men will compete in five categories.

Doctor Mustache – Chris D’Elia @ the Laugh Factory

without comments

We like mustaches here at Stachist. And you can put a mustache on just about anything!

Needless to say, there are some things that you shouldn’t put a mustache on; You can also have too many. Stand-up comedian Chris D’Elia reams one audience member who takes the mustache too far.

Fear the Mustache—Ed Lee’s Mustache

without comments

Behold a ridiculously awesome and totally irrelevant campaign video for San Francisco mayoral candidate and current interim mayor Ed Lee. I’m not sure what his policies are but he has a mustache which is sufficient to get my vote. He also has really cool friends, like:

  • MC Hammer
  • Biz Stone, Twitter Co-Founder
  • will.i.am, The Black Eyed Peas
  • Ronnie Lott, 49ers Legend
  • Willie Brown, Former SF Mayor
  • Marissa Mayer, Google
  • Hunter Walk, YouTube
  • Brian Wilson, The Beard
